Olmi De-Leafer for Vineyards

The Olmi vineyard deleafer ensures optimal grape development and can save up to 30% of time compared to manual harvesting. The air that’s produced hits the leaves around the grapes ensuring a gentle but effective leaf removing system for vines.

POST-FLOWERING

  • Pulsating air cleans the grapes, assists removal of flowering residue and all impurities on grapes.
  • Improves the penetration and effectiveness of treatments, consequently reducing the amount of treatments needed with considerable costs savings.
  • Improves ventilation within the grapes, preventing the formation of moisture that is harmful for the fruit development.
  • Prevents from Botrytis.
  • Early stage leaf removal when the sun is weaker prevents grapes from sun burning.

IN PRE-HARVEST

  • Facilitates manual harvesting with a saving of time of between 20 - 30%, while with mechanical harvesting it eliminates moisture in the fruiting area and so a greater cleanliness of the crop can be reached, also fungicides and other impurities in the tanks of the harvesters can be reduced. Even in this phase the defoliator does not harm the grapes.
